Be a “SuperStarter” this Summer! Dr. E’s SuperStarters Tennis Camps provide a super start to tennis! Each day combines tennis instruction with life skills and teambuilding activities to help kids be better teammates on and off the court! The camps focus on triple impact skills of: TENNIS (strokes, rallying and playing), MOTOR & MOVEMENT (hand-eye coordination, footwork, agility, balance) & TEAM such as making friends, communication & listening, being positive and supportive, working together, focus, concentration, and being healthy. Each day consists of both tennis practices and team times so kids are always using their hands, feet, eyes or mind. These camps have been so popular they are now offered in 11 elementary schools in the City & County! (Playbook & snack included)
Girls Tennis Clubs offer tennis instruction (using QuickStart methodology) and fun, healthy living activities for girls, ages 5-10. We focus on building skills & self-esteem through daily tennis practices and “girl power” activities. “Girl power” activities include writing, reading, creating collages & arts & craft projects, or other activities to promote self-esteem. Our goal is to help girls feel more competent, connected and confident!
GirlSportsU Camps are multi-sports camps for girls only! Girls can learn, practice, and play a variety of sports in a safe, supportive, skill-building environment with high-quality instruction and trained female coaches. Get fun and fit with friends! Our sports include a mix of lifetime, individual and team sports including tennis, golf, volleyball, running & yoga! SuperStarters programs are designed to help girls feel more competent, connected and confident! (Playbook & snack included)

Adult Beginner Instruction (ages 15-adults)
Get in the game! This class teaches the basics of tennis: groundstrokes, volleys, serve, doubles play, and drills, and incorporates fun games that you can play at home to keep practicing your skills with others.
Teens Beginner Instruction (ages 12-18)
Pick up a new hobby this summer! This class is low-key and fun, focusing on building skills and strokes so you can play the sport of a lifetime with friends!
Intermediate and Advanced Classes
High School Prep (rising 9th – 12th graders)
Interested in trying out for your high school team? This class will help prepare you for trying out or competing at the high school level. We will work on strokes, point construction, strategy, along with singles and doubles match play.
Dr. E’s Doubles Clinic (adult adv. beginner & intermediate players)
Improve your doubles game in fun strategy and drilling sessions with ACPR Director of Tennis and former nationally-ranked player Ellen Markowitz. Learn how and when to poach, how to use signals effectively, and practice LOTS of volleys & overheads!
Cardio Tennis (adult intermediate and advanced players)
Have fun in a fast-paced tennis workout emphasizing footwork and movement, along with other agility and balance exercises. Hit lots of balls and get in better shape! Geared to NTRP 3.5 and above level players.
Zennis (adults – all skill levels)
Dr. E’s “Zen tennis” class (featured on NBC29News) integrates aspects of yoga, mindfulness, martial arts, and sport psychology with tennis instruction. We focus on the “3 B’s” — balance, breathing and body movement. Learn how to incorporate mental toughness elements into your game, and bring your inner Buddha!
QuickStart Tennis is a fun, new format to teach tennis to 5-10 year olds, using smaller rackets, shorter courts, lower nets, foam and low-pressure balls, simplified scoring, and an emphasis on teamwork. While learning tennis, kids also improve their motor skills, hand-eye coordination and movement abilities. Scaling the game down to their size helps make the learning process easier and a lot more fun!
SNAG, or Starting New at Golf, is a fun, new format to teach golf to 5-10 year olds, using lighter, kid friendly cubs, Velcro balls, targets, and other teaching tools that maximize kids’ ability to learn and have success at a challenging sport. While learning golf, kids also improve their motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and balance. Scaling the game down to their size helps make the learning process easier and a lot more fun!
